System Update (11 Nov, 2019)

EDB released the revised Mathematics Education Key Learning Area Curriculum Guide (Primary 1 – Secondary 6) and the revised KS1 Mathematics curriculum in 2017. The relevant sets of Basic Competency descriptors have been updated. In response to the above revision, starting from 11 November 2019, when adding new papers on the STAR platform, it is necessary to select the question coverage first,

• Basic Competency (2017): Sets of Basic Competence (BC) descriptors updated according to the revised Curriculum Guide released in 2017
   
• Basic Competency (2000): Sets of Basic Competence (BC) descriptors based on the Curriculum Guide released in 2000

The set of Basic Competence descriptors in question search will be listed based on the question coverage selected. Subsequent steps of creating paper remain unchanged.

Question coverage of paper will be indicated in paper details and reports.

Remarks:
1. Question coverage of paper cannot be changed once set.
2. All the created papers are under the coverage of Basic Competence 2000.
